Wave season 2018: where do you want to go?
Happy New Year! It's hard to believe it is "wave season" already ~ that clever name the cruise industry puts on its busiest booking season of the year. OK, maybe it's not so clever, but it is what it is. For a long time, this was lingo behind the veil, but it's become client facing in recent years, so I may as well embrace it.
When I look at what wave season means to the consumer, I like to think about the opportunities it offers. It's a great time to book, if you want the biggest offers, and the best deals. You will typically get more extras during wave season, and save the most off published pricing, all while getting the best pick of itineraries and cabins.
You may be thinking, yeah, yeah, yeah, more marketing speak... and I don't blame you. It's hard to sort through all the sales and deals and offers to find the best value on the best trip for you.
But that's what I am here for.
I want nothing more than for you to find the best value for that trip of a lifetime you are planning, or your annual vacation, or that family getaway.
Value means different things to different people.
For some, it means the lowest price.
For others, it means the most extras.
For all, it means value for money on the travel experience that will be the most meaningful and memorable to you.
I'd be honoured to help.
